
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THERAPY
I provide a supportive space for you to explore what is going on in your life, to pause and reflect on how you are feeling and what might need some attention. We will focus on your thoughts, feelings and any other information that might appear as aches and pains or physical sensations you might be experiencing.
In therapy there is an opportunity to look at what might be causing you to feel stuck and the tendency to repeat patterns of behaviour. Together we will work through the problems you are experiencing and find a way forward.
As a result of psychotherapy you might notice a deeper connection to yourself and others around you. You might also notice more creativity and vitality in your life.
I offer a free of charge introduction session, usually lasting 30 minutes. This is a chance to find out some more about each other and for you to ask some questions about how I work. If you would like to commit to therapy, then we will work out a weekly session time and initially begin with six sessions. If you feel you would like to continue beyond this then we can work in an open ended way and continue until we agree an ending point. Sessions can take place both in person or online and last for one hour.
If you would prefer to speak on the phone initially before meeting for a brief conversation, we can arrange a convenient time for this.
